Features

• When you request code coverage information, the Run MATLAB Tests action collects all structural coverage metrics available with your license by default. For example, with a MATLAB Test™ license, you can view all MATLAB code coverage metrics in the GitHub job summary. Without a MATLAB Test license, you can view only statement and function coverage metrics. For more information, see View Test and Coverage Results.
• You no longer need a MATLAB Test license to view MATLAB and Simulink test results in the GitHub job summary.
• You can now generate a test summary on the GitHub job summary page when running tests in parallel. Previously, test summary generation was supported only for serial test execution.
• The GitHub Actions workflow no longer fails when the action cannot generate a test summary on the GitHub job summary page. Instead, the action issues a warning and continues the workflow.

Compatibility Considerations

• Using the code-coverage-metric-level input is not recommended. Use the code-coverage-metrics input instead.
