What's New (SATK-2026.10.c)

Agentic Toolkit Installer

For Claude Code or OpenAI® Codex, you can now install MATLAB® Agentic Toolkit, Simulink® Agentic Toolkit, and MATLAB MCP Server together from the command line using the Agentic Toolkit Installer.

When you install Simulink Agentic Toolkit using the Agentic Toolkit Installer:

  • You no longer need to run satk_initialize.
  • Your coding agent is configured to use session-mode=auto by default.

If you prefer session-mode=existing, configure your coding agent manually and run shareMATLABSession in the MATLAB session that you want to share.

Improved Skills and Tools

  • building-architecture-models — Guides your coding agent through creating sequence diagrams (MATLAB® R2024b or later) and saving new models into the project's architecture folder. Loads more reliably for architecture views, port interfaces, and sequence diagrams. Requires System Composer™.

Bug Fixes

  • model_edit — Fixed minor layout issues.
