• Zooms can follow the cursor: turn on Auto for a zoom and the camera pans to keep the pointer in view. Drag the preview to take over by hand.
• New backgrounds in the Look inspector: image presets such as Graphite, Midnight, Ocean and Aurora, or an image of your own.
• Colours now pass through unchanged from recording to export, and exports are tagged so QuickTime and browsers show them the same way.
• The recorded cursor is drawn from the system's vector artwork, so it stays sharp at any zoom.
• Motion blur during zooms stays centred on the sharp image instead of pushing edges outward.
• The clip inspector is tidier: trim details appear only when a clip is trimmed, and media information is condensed.
• Lumae now sends anonymous usage analytics to help improve it: counts and durations, never names, paths, text or pixels. Turn them off in Settings › Privacy.
