Enable hatches for Cairo backend

Hi,
I would love to see hatches support with the Cairo backend. Right now I have to go through dynamic loading / unloading of matplotlibs to have hatches for some of my charts. Adding hatches to Cairo would solve this.

@mdboom: Has this recently been moved into v1.2.x? How likely is it? I wouldn't be adverse to making it a 1.3 feature request in the name of getting (already new feature laden) 1.2.x shippable.

Yeah -- I'd prefer to take it off of 1.2. I don't recall assigning it there -- perhaps I did it by accident. This is significant work.

I don't know if it needs mentioning that hatches also don't work in GTKCairo and GTK3Cairo.
