Improvements:

  • Call: Add CallKit support, thanks to @morozkin.
  • MXRoom: Preserve message sending order.
  • MXRealmCryptoStore: Move the existing db file from the default folder to the shared container.
  • MXSession: Add isEventStreamInitialised flag.
  • MXRestClient: Store certificates allowed by the end user in the initWithHomeServer method too.
  • MXRestClient: Improve registration parameters handling (element-hq/element-ios#910).
  • MXCall: Go into MXCallStateCreateAnswer state on [MXCall answer] even if there are unknown devices in e2e rooms.
  • MXLogger: Make it compatible with MXSDKOptions.applicationGroupIdentifier to write app extensions logs to file.
  • MXLogger: Add setSubLogName method to log extensions into different files
  • MXLogger: Log up to 10 life cycles.

Bug fixes:

  • Call: Fix freeze when making a 2nd call.
  • MXEventTimeline: Fix crash when the user changes the language in the app.
  • Store is reset by mistake on app launch when the user has left a room (element-hq/element-ios#1574).
  • MXRoom: sendEventOfType: Copy the event content to send to keep it consistent in multi-thread conditions (like in e2e) (element-hq/element-ios#1581).
  • Mark all messages as read does not work well (element-hq/element-ios#1425).
