MatrixOne-v4.2.3
Release date: September 10, 2026
MatrixOne version: v4.2.3
MatrixOne 4.2.3 is a patch release on top of 4.2.2, improving query execution, database creation, subscription indexes, and memory ownership under admission failures.
Key Improvements
Query Execution
- Correlated Aggregate Point Lookups: Restrict eligible correlated scalar aggregates to the outer primary-key point domain, avoiding scans of unrelated rows.
- Compute-Pool Routing: Preserve the initiating query's CN labels through internal vector-index SQL and remote execution.
Key Bug Fixes
SQL and Catalog Correctness
- Reset prepared-statement parameter NULL state correctly when parameters are rebound to non-NULL values.
- Handle build-only result columns in ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE without indexing the wrong batch.
- Resolve subscribed secondary-index tables using the publisher database identity.
- Make database creation fail closed and retain correct catalog-cache visibility during garbage collection.
- Correct the logical-ID index primary-column type to match the source catalog definition.
Reliability
- Preserve vector Area ownership when memory admission fails, allowing normal cleanup.
- Distinguish internal receiver early-stop from terminal query or connection cancellation.
