What's changed

  • Added an end_conversation callback so Gemini can tell Home Assistant when to stop listening for follow-up requests. Completion state is isolated by conversation ID, so simultaneous conversations do not affect one another.
  • Short opening commands such as stop, cancel, or silence now prioritize finding and stopping an actively ringing alarm or timer before the conversation ends. This supports the common case of shouting "Stop!" at a ringing Assist satellite.
  • Added instructions for installing home-assistant/core#173712 as a custom ESPHome component override to reduce Assist satellite response latency.
