v1.0.5

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 13:21
  • Added: the media window's details sidebar (Media Library grid view, the editor's image picker, Edit Media) shows what Lean Images made of the image - savings per format and every size's JPEG/PNG, WebP and AVIF file sizes - with Convert now / Try again for administrators.

v1.0.4

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 11:43
  • Fixed: on servers whose Imagick extension reports its version as "@PACKAGE_VERSION@" (builds compiled from source, seen with PHP 8.5), WordPress refused ImageMagick, so images were resized and converted with GD and the server test wrongly blamed another plugin. Lean Images now uses ImageMagick there. Run "Convert everything again" afterwards for the sharper files.
  • Improved: when WordPress itself turns ImageMagick down, the server test says so as a warning instead of blocking conversion.

v1.0.3

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 10:57
  • Improved: the nginx configuration the server test shows now says where it goes - above any other nginx rule for images, since nginx uses the first one that matches.

v1.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 10:33
  • Fixed: on WordPress 7.1, opening the block editor stopped with a fatal error.
  • Fixed: on WordPress 7.1, images uploaded in the block editor got WebP and AVIF only for the main file. WordPress's new in-browser image processing is now turned off while Lean Images is active, so every upload is processed on the server again.

v1.0.1

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 10:18
  • Fixed: the Plugins screen showed two "View details" links once WordPress had checked for updates.

v1.0.0

@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 10:12
  • Initial release.
