New Features
Proper quit with exit handler in macOS version
New Window function implemented in Linux version (it will never be implemented in Windows because of path limitations)
Small Changes and Additions
Homebrew (can use tigerbrew on older versions of macOS) is required to build the macOS version; I'm too tired of trying to get Nuitka to link against any dependencies anywhere else
Python 3.4-3.11 support added back
This means older Linux distros (I do not know which, but if you must use 3.4, go ahead, it works now), Windows XP, and OS X 10.5 Leopard (Hackintoshes supported, as usual) are supported once again
Python 3.13 support is still not ready, as Nuitka does not like it. However, I am returning to using the official Python 3.12 binaries, which are Universal 2. So, there will be specific arm64 and x86_64 binaries. However, they will be provided through the lone notepadee cask.
Additionally, this means I'm going back to Tcl/Tk 8. 8 is better than 9 because it does not have the awkward graphics glitches that cause the text to be sized wrong.
Older systems must compile from source, as usual
Additional to the quit handler on the macOS version, the termination signals sent by pressing Ctrl+C (keyboardInterrupt) and killall are handled by a wrapper of the exit handler (which in turn triggers the original exit_handler)
The exit handler allows the user to return to the app by pressing Cancel.
Bugfixes
The open_file and runonarg functions run when opening a file now set the global file_open variable (correct) instead of setting a local version of that variable (incorrect).
