Fixes

• iMCP no longer quits when macOS removes its menu bar item, which on macOS 26 made the app exit right after launch when it wasn't allowed in the menu bar. It keeps running, Settings has a new "Show in Menu Bar" toggle, and opening iMCP again brings up Settings so you can get the icon back (#234; fixes #232)
• Calendar, Reminders, Location, and Capture tools ask for access when it's missing, instead of failing with "not authorized" after permissions were reset (#230; #171)
• imcp-server connects over loopback on the port the app advertises, so Docker and OrbStack bridge interfaces no longer break the connection (#229; fixes #142)
• The Bonjour service is named "iMCP" instead of the machine's hostname, so imcp-server finds it on managed Macs (#228; fixes #143)
• contacts_update fetches contacts as editable objects and runs contact reads and writes one at a time (#231; #148)

Under the hood

• The menu panel is dismissed and resized by a small internal controller, replacing the MenuBarExtraAccess dependency (#233)
• The release workflow verifies assets that already uploaded instead of failing when a slow upload is retried (#227)
