In-app updates and a Helper status fix.

What's new

  • Install updates in place. "Check for Updates" now offers Install & Relaunch: Claffeinate downloads the release, verifies it (SHA-256 against GitHub's published digest, a valid Developer ID code signature, and a matching Team ID), swaps it in over the running app, and relaunches — no more bouncing out to the Releases page in a browser.
  • Fix: Helper showed "Off" until Claude first became busy. The Helper connection status is now probed at launch, after toggling the helper in System Settings, and right after installing hooks — so it reflects reality immediately instead of looking disconnected while idle.

Install

Unzip and move Claffeinate.app to /Applications, then launch it. The build is Developer ID-signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without a Gatekeeper prompt.
