Release list
v0.14.3 — windows
Window glass is a clear step darker than the pale walls in the graded palette, so windows read as openings again. Viewer-only; exports unchanged. 93 tests.
v0.14.2 — phones
On portrait screens the home view looks down more steeply, so the city fills the height, and small screens show at most five district labels. Building-family images in docs use the current look. 93 tests.
v0.14.1 — quieter roofs
A burning roof has one fire near its centre with one plume of flames, instead of specks over the whole deck; flat roofs carry one to four rooftop units instead of up to twelve. Demos, README media and site re-rendered. Paper 1.21.11: WorldEdit/world/live 158/158; 93 tests.
v0.14.0 — new look
New look. The viewer HUD is paper by day and ink at night: opaque panels, hairline rules, a text wordmark, mono values, a compact phone toolbar with a bottom-sheet guide, and an Auto/Paper/Ink choice under View. The city sits on the same paper backdrop.
Calmer city. Block colours are graded in the viewer (hue kept, chroma and value compressed, darker roofs, quieter textures and light), so a frame reads like an architectural model; fire and selection stay bright. Exports are unchanged.
Website and README rebuilt in the same system: https://maximilianfeix.github.io/repoville/
93 tests; renders checked at 1440 and 390 px, light and dark.
v0.13.0 — framing and building guide
Framing: the home view backs off until the tops of the tallest buildings are in frame, so small repos with one tall file are no longer cut off (large cities unchanged).
Docs: docs/BUILDINGS.md shows all nine building families with real renders.
Viewer: Home/End and Escape in the search results.
93 tests; renders checked at 1440 px and 390 px portrait.
v0.12.0 — copper and reef themes
New themes: Swift and Lua build a copper town (waxed copper, so worlds never oxidise it), C# and PHP a prismarine reef on sand. These languages used to fall back to plain stone.
Exports: roof decks use tuff instead of gravel, which fell into hollow floors once the game updated it. Verified on Paper 1.21.11: a Swift/C#/PHP/Lua repo pastes with WorldEdit 118/118, the test town 158/158 for WorldEdit, world and live builds; 93 tests.
v0.11.0 — lighting
Lighting: the sun now lights the facades the home view sees (it used to sit behind them, so every visible wall was in shade). Towers read as lit and shaded faces, and dark themes such as C/C++ (Linux demo) are legible.
C/C++ theme: tuff walls instead of deepslate, plus a light calcite neighbourhood.
Landing hero video, demos, README screenshots and flyover re-rendered from the real viewer; 93 tests.
v0.10.0 — suburb greens
Suburb greens: the space around small houses is lawn with trees instead of the district's road surface (deep folders used to show as wide dirt-path areas, e.g. Flask's tests/test_apps).
Framing: the home view includes building height, so a tall tower on a small map (fzf) is no longer cut off at the top.
Demos, README screenshots and flyover re-rendered from the real viewer; 93 tests; Paper e2e 159/159 (WorldEdit, world, live).
v0.9.0 — terraces
Terraces: a folder made mostly of small files (townhouse class) is laid out as rows along lanes, back gardens meeting, files in path order, instead of scattered lots.
Test labs: each lab picks one of three whites, an accent stripe and roof furniture, so test-heavy districts are no longer one white field.
Export palettes no longer contain unused block states. Demos, README screenshots and flyover re-rendered from the real viewer; 93 tests; Paper e2e 159/159 (WorldEdit, world, live).
v0.8.0 — facades with depth
Facades with depth: wide towers get trim piers on every third column, vertical glass strips and a two-block cornice; midrises get recessed ribbon windows. The skyline reads as framed buildings instead of boxes with dot grids.
Exports: iron bars and fences get the connection states the game derives. Paper 1.21.11 end-to-end tests now check one cell of every distinct block state (159 in the test town): WorldEdit paste, world zip and live builds all pass.
Demos, README screenshots and flyover re-rendered from the real viewer; 92 tests.
