💡 Vulnerability: The sim_tx_packet function used memcpy to copy packet payload directly from skb->data, assuming the sk_buff is linear. This can cause out-of-bounds memory reads if the packet is non-linear (fragmented).
🎯 Impact: This vulnerability could allow reading of out-of-bounds memory or cause kernel panics on non-linear packets.
🔧 Fix: Replaced memcpy with skb_copy_bits() to safely handle non-linear (fragmented) buffers.
✅ Verification: Module builds successfully. The fix handles any non-linear sk_buff efficiently returning -EFAULT avoiding memory issues.
