Chora 0.1.0-beta.2 is an early macOS prerelease for Apple-silicon Macs.

Installation:

  1. Download Chora-0.1.0-beta.2-arm64.dmg.
  2. Open the DMG and copy Chora to Applications.
  3. Try to open Chora once. macOS will report that Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
  4. Choose Apple menu → System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  5. In Security, choose Open Anyway, authenticate, then confirm Open.

Chora uses a complete ad-hoc code signature, but it is not Developer ID signed or notarized by Apple. The Privacy & Security override is therefore expected. Macs managed by a school or employer may prohibit this override.

Verify the download with SHA256SUMS.txt. Expected SHA-256:
