Words of Yeshua 0.5.0 is the second Windows desktop release of the local-first Bible reader and study companion.

What's included

  • Updated application, taskbar, installer, uninstaller, and Electron executable icon using the latest Words of Yeshua artwork.
  • Simple chapter-reading experience alongside focused exploration of the words of Yeshua.
  • Words of Christ in red can be toggled on or off.
  • Clean frameless interface with rounded presentation plus minimize and close controls.
  • Account-free, subscription-free, and designed to keep reading preferences and saved passages on the device.
  • Assisted x64 NSIS installer; this release does not use Squirrel.

Verification

  • 27 automated tests passed.
  • ESLint passed.
  • npm audit found 0 vulnerabilities.
  • Native C++20 and Electron runtime smoke tests passed.
  • The packaged application passed an end-to-end smoke test.

Installation
Download Words-of-Yeshua-Setup-0.5.0.exe and run it. The installer is not Authenticode-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may show an unrecognized-app warning.
