Updated MACEField Foundation Model

This release provides an updated finetuned MACEField foundation model:

  • MACEField-MH-0-omat-dielectric.model

The model is built from the new MACE multihead MP-0 foundation model and finetuned on its main omat head:

    Replay set for dielectric / ferroelectric finetuning

  • macefield-example-finetuning-script.sh
    Example script for further finetuning on top of the released dielectric model

Updated training data

This MACEField foundation model was trained on a more recent MP-Dielectric dataset, preprocessed to remove spurious Born effective charges (BECs) that broke the acoustic sum rule.
