v0.17.2

@mdostal mdostal released this 11 Sep 15:45

Changed

  • Operator-confirmed brand-mark split — the previous release swapped the masthead's brand glyph from Abstract Mark to Monogram along with the dock/app icon and favicon; clarified that the masthead should stay Abstract Mark (compact in-UI use), while the dock/app icon and favicon stay Monogram (the actual selected logo direction). Two concepts, two surfaces, both deliberate.

Fixed

  • The masthead mark, app icon, and favicon used the wrong logo concept — the operator's real, recorded verdict on the brand decision was Monogram, but v0.17.0 shipped with "Abstract Mark" substituted in instead. All three surfaces now render the actually-selected Monogram concept, verified via a real cargo tauri build + .icns inspection.
  • Buttons had no hover, press, or visible-keyboard-focus feedback anywhere in the app — a single base-layer rule now gives every button real interactive states, across all 4 skins.

Added

The approved Consus brand is now wired into the real product (consus-phase30-brand-theme-integration, 4 stories):

  • A new "Granary" skin — a 4th option alongside Drafting Table/Case Board/Harness, built from the approved palette (Granary Indigo/Threshing Gold/Quern Charcoal/Parchment) with a real, contrast-checked dark companion and self-hosted Fraunces + IBM Plex Sans (zero external font-CDN requests). Default skin for fresh installs only — an existing install's stored skin choice is never overridden.
  • The real brand mark in the masthead — the approved Abstract Mark concept replaces the placeholder "◈" glyph, Granary skin only, with theme-aware fills so it stays legible in both light and dark.
  • Real desktop app icons + a first-ever web favicon — regenerated from the Abstract Mark, with the generation script checked into the repo this time. Verified via a real cargo tauri build.
  • A full-surface visual QA pass, both themes — found and fixed a real pre-existing gap: 7 of 8 decision answer-shape renderers had never had dedicated CSS since they first shipped, relying on bare browser defaults under every skin. All seven now styled consistently.

v0.16.2

Choose a tag to compare

@mdostal mdostal released this 11 Sep 02:52
1f2d280

Fixed

  • Registering the same repo path under two project names silently created duplicate decisions
    forever
    — found live right after the brand-decision-review feature shipped: this machine's own
    consus-projects.json had consus and work both pointing at the same repo path, and every
    scan synthesized a separate decision per project name (decision:<project-name>:<file-path>),
    so the same brand decision showed up twice in the queue. POST /api/projects validated name
    uniqueness but never path uniqueness. Now returns 409 naming the existing project when the
    resolved path is already registered under a different name.

Changed

  • docs/api-reference.md — documented GET/POST /api/surveys and GET /api/surveys/:id
    (previously shipped, undocumented), and the new path-uniqueness check on POST /api/projects.

v0.16.1

Choose a tag to compare

@mdostal mdostal released this 10 Sep 20:59
e0dd974

Fixed

  • Live app crash: blank screen the instant a non-decision-request/v1 decision was opened —
    found live, immediately after shipping consus-phase29-brand-decision-review's new
    concept-selection/v1 payload: App.tsx's own DecisionItem interface had been typed as only
    the original decision-request/v1 shape this whole time, silently surviving seven more payload
    types added across earlier phases because none of them had ever actually reached this exact
    render path in a live session until the newly-synthesized brand decision did. Fixed by widening
    the type to a proper AnyDecisionPayload union with real narrowing at all three previously-unsafe
    access points, plus a regression test carrying the exact payload shape that crashed.
