• Cleaner text. Numbers keep their case ("0.6 version", "2nd"), a pause no longer capitalizes the next word, and you can say "comma", "question mark", "full stop" or "scratch that" (Arabic: "علامة استفهام", "سطر جديد").
• Shortcuts stay shortcuts. ⌥← and other shortcuts with the key no longer start a dictation or lock hands-free mode. ⌃⌘V pastes your last dictation anywhere.
• No clipped words. The microphone opens without waiting for the speech engine and keeps listening a moment after you let go.
• Choose your microphone (or always use the Mac's own), and optionally pause music and video while you dictate.
• Clear messages instead of silence: no sound from the mic, nothing heard, a disconnected mic (what you said is kept), or a press while the last dictation is still finishing.
• A History you can use: grouped by day, showing the app each dictation went to, with one-click copy, "Add to Dictionary", export and a retention setting.
• Your stats: words today and this week, speaking speed and time saved.
• Redesigned Settings with a sidebar, a guided first run that checks Accessibility and the microphone, a clearer menu bar menu, and a floating pill that shows your newest words on the screen you're using.
• Arabic: an optional streaming recognizer (Apple Dictation), more reliable long dictations, and Auto mode keeps working in English if Arabic can't start.
• Safer updates: every check happens before VoiceX closes, VoiceX always reopens if something fails, updates can install automatically when you're idle, and releases come with notes.
• Privacy: History can be kept for 7, 30 or 90 days or not at all, and the anonymous install count can be turned off.
