• Cowork sessions. Cowork now keeps its own list of sessions in the sidebar, apart from your Chats, like the Code screen. Going to the Chat and coming back reopens your last Cowork session, with its conversation and knowledge bases. If the session worked in another folder, Cowork offers to switch back to it.
• helix command line on Windows. Settings › Install the apps › CLI now sets up the helix command on Windows too, for your account only and without administrator rights. Open a new PowerShell or Command Prompt afterwards. Account names with spaces, accents or "&" are supported.
• Install the apps. Each tab now offers the package for its own system, in the same version as your instance: the installer for Windows, the .deb and AppImage for Linux, the disk images for macOS.

• Agents on Windows after a removal. After an agent was removed on Windows, putting any other agent into service could fail with "EPERM: operation not permitted, realpath … openclaw-agent.sqlite". Windows keeps a deleted file around while a program still has it open, and the agents' instance still had the removed agent's database open. Helix now stops the agents' instance before deleting a removed agent's files, then starts it again. On a PC already in this state, Helix restarts the instance by itself, which releases the file, and tries again.
• Code screen on Linux (from 2026.1002.1): when the usual OpenCode build cannot start, Helix tries the other builds OpenCode publishes.

• Code screen on Linux. On some machines the Code screen stayed on the OpenCode installation with a "Retry" button, because the downloaded OpenCode program could not start there. Helix now tries the other builds that OpenCode publishes for the same version: one for x64 processors without AVX2 (common in virtual machines and older PCs), and one that does not depend on the system's C library. Each build is pinned and its fingerprint checked, as before. If none starts, the message now says what the system answered.
• Checked on every change. Opening a Code session on Linux, with the real OpenCode installed by Helix, is now run on every change to the main branch.

What's new

• Spanish, German and Arabic. The whole interface, the messages of the gateway, the built-in help and the desktop menus are translated: French, English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German and Arabic. Choose the language in Settings › Preferences › Language.
• Right to left for Arabic. In Arabic the whole page is mirrored: sidebar on the right, arrows and chevrons turned, text aligned to the right. Code, commands, file paths, model names and numbers stay left to right. What you write and what the model answers follow their own direction, so an Arabic answer reads correctly in a French interface, and the other way round.
• Dates, numbers and lists follow the language. Calendar days, dates, durations and lists of names use the conventions of the chosen language.

• Visual C++ libraries on Windows. Two of OpenClaw's modules need Microsoft's Visual C++ runtime. When it is missing or too old, deploying an agent now installs it first: Helix downloads the official Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (pinned version 14.51, x64 or ARM64), checks its fingerprint and its Microsoft signature, then runs it. Windows asks once for administrator permission, and the screen explains why beforehand. If permission is refused, or the account has no administrator rights, the message says what to do, with Microsoft's official download page. An OpenClaw already installed without these libraries shows a button on the Agents page to install them.

What's new

• Message queue in the Chat and Cowork. Send a message while an answer is still being written: it waits its turn instead of cutting the answer, and leaves on its own when the answer ends, with the attachments and options chosen when you wrote it. Each queued message can be edited or removed. After an error or "Stop", the queue pauses until you click "Send now". "Stop" is now a separate button.
• What the model is doing, on every platform. On computers without a graphics card, the model can take more than a minute before its first word. The Chat now says so with the elapsed time ("… is organizing the work (N s)", "… is reading the request (N s)"), then shows the model's reasoning with its duration, on Windows and Linux as on the Mac. Reasoning written inside the answer (between <think> and </think>) is recognized too, in the Chat, the VS Code extension and the command line. A model that repeats the same long paragraph over and over while reasoning is stopped.
• Deploying an agent on Windows. Installing OpenClaw no longer runs the install scripts of its dependencies (some could fall back to compiling code, which fails on a PC without build tools); OpenClaw's own scripts are run by Node directly. If the installation still fails, the message names the package and the cause, with what to do, and the full npm output goes to the gateway log.
• Removing an agent. The delete button on an agent's card is always visible, the removal is waited for and its failure explained, and the agent's panel closes once it is removed.
• Keyboard focus. The green focus outline now only appears when you navigate with the keyboard (Tab, arrows), no longer on a button after you send a message with Enter.
• Built-in help covers every screen, including Train a model, Screen control, the VS Code extension, the command line, the developer API, knowledge bases and Subscription.
• Settings. The AI memory is described as it works (only the items you add go with your requests); the buttons to open the instance to colleagues are translated; "System setting" follows the computer's appearance on every platform.

Agents can list the pages you administer, read their posts and statistics, and publish on a page's behalf after your approval. A step-by-step guide opens the right LinkedIn page and gives every value to copy.
• Palmier Pro. On Apple Silicon Macs, Helix connects to Palmier Pro when it is open, so agents can edit videos on its timeline. Helix checks that the signed Palmier Pro app is the one listening before sending anything. Reading the project needs no approval; every edit and every generation asks for your approval, and the approval card says when a generation goes to Palmier's services on your Palmier credits.
• Subscription preview. Settings › Subscription shows the planned offer: Discovery, Plus, Pro and Max for individuals, Team and Team Premium per seat, Enterprise on quote, with a launch price, the monthly tokens of each model hosted in Paris, and the whole platform included. Nothing can be paid yet.
• VS Code extension 0.2.5. While the model thinks, the panel shows how long it has been thinking instead of a bare "…"; code in your question keeps its indentation; the "Insert" button no longer covers the first line of code.
• Error messages stay inside their bubble. Long provider responses (such as a masked API key) now wrap and are shortened between two words.
• French README: the "Train a model" screenshot is back.

• A Models page. Every open model Helix can install (Apache 2.0 or MIT, about forty more than before), with search, filters by publisher and sorting. Models your computer can't run stay visible, greyed out, with the reason.
• Model sizes corrected. Several models were heavier than listed. On an 8 GB computer without a graphics card, Helix now recommends Qwen3.5 2B, so the machine doesn't saturate.
• Step-by-step connector guides. For each service that needs an app on the provider's side: a button that opens the exact console page, the steps in the console's order, the return address to copy, the scopes to tick and what not to do. When the provider refuses the connection, Helix explains why and how to fix it.

In 2026.928.6 the engine could be left half-installed ("LM Studio daemon is not running and no valid installation could be found") or fail to start ("Timed out waiting for LM Studio daemon to start"). Helix now installs it completely, reinstalls it by itself if needed, and starts it the way it did before 2026.928.6.
• Choose your model. On the setup screen, "Choose another model" lists every model your computer runs comfortably, with the recommended one selected. Models too heavy for the machine are no longer suggested.
• Clearer setup. The card shows the model being installed, and setup stops at the first engine problem with what to do.
• A log file on each computer (passerelle.log, in the app's logs folder), to understand what went wrong if something does.
