[Feature Request] Scrobble to Last.fm

Just saw this program after you posted about it on reddit. It's really nice.
Is it possible to remove the "featured stations" stuff?
And secondly, is it possible to scrobble to last.fm?
Lastly, when using the MPRIS plugin, it's better to just show the title - artist. It's currently showing title - artist - url or something of that nature.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

Featured stations are currently pulled at random from your country (based on your locale settings), provided they have a logo with a decent resolution (at least 200px). I consider this a feature because it aligns with the "discover new stations" value proposition. That said, I'll try to add a "hide" button soon.

Regarding the song titles: the two issues you mentioned are actually closely related. What you see in MPRIS or the player bar is a direct copy of the metadata sent by the radio station. It's just a raw string; the app doesn't modify it. Radio stations often choose to include extra information in that field.

Since the Last.fm scrobbler requires the artist and title to be submitted separately, I can try to parse the string, though I'm not yet sure how reliable that will be. If you could let me know which station you were listening to, I'd be happy to test it against their specific data.

I've already tested the latest build a couple of days ago.
I'm using the .deb file.
I see that featured stations can now be hidden. So that's good.
The last.fm scrobbling is not yet available. I couldn't see anywhere to activate it (by entering the client id or anything of the sort). There is no menu/list that I could see that has to do with entering the details for the scrobbling. I just assumed you've not got around to implementing it yet.

I still don't see a last.fm button anywhere in the UI. ):

The first one shows that I don't see any last.fm button in the UI
The 2nd shows what Deadbeef shows in the MPRIS plugin on the taskbar compared to what Receiver shows, for the exact same channel.
The main thing is what is being scrobbled to last.fm though. It might be forgiven for showing the URL in the plugin, as long as it only scrobbles the [Artist - Title] and nothing more/less
