Omarchy PS4 Manager v0.31, Baikal B1 beta.

Public development beta for the accepted Baikal B1 boot path. Not a production
release, not a jailbreak, and unsigned. Release signing and repeated
hardware acceptance remain open.

What the package does

The FPKG verifies and installs the matching kernel, initramfs, boot arguments
and VRAM setting into the application's internal storage, then hands the
verified boot set to the local Linux loader. The initramfs waits for and
validates the external ext4 root labelled OMARCHY-PS4. The PS4 internal SATA
disk is not used as the Linux root and is not formatted.

The Linux root filesystem is not attached here

omarchy-ps4-4.0.0-baikal-b1-beta1-rootfs.tar.zst is withheld for two
independent reasons:

  1. it is 2,898,091,498 bytes, above the 2 GiB per-asset limit for a GitHub
    release;
  2. the frozen beta1 archive carries provisioning 4.0.0-16 and predates the
    LightDM session-discovery and systemd-timesyncd rootfs fixes, so
    publishing it would distribute a known-superseded image.

For reference its SHA-256 is
1bd7be870b97acfa3b6aa99ab84e6a6ace4f61efc2a6829478fe41a2e9e728f9. A rebuilt
and re-verified rootfs will be published separately.

Known open items

  • persistent LightDM autologin is not accepted until a bounded reboot passes;
  • network-time persistence needs a bounded reboot pass;
  • the package is unsigned.
