Connect Claude to your Datalytics workspace — query your datasets, build reports and dashboards, and schedule them, in plain language.
Install once and Claude gets 17 Datalytics tools, plus the conventions to use them properly.
17 tools — search and describe datasets and datasources, run read-only queries, and create datasets, reports, dashboards and schedulers.
A skill — datalytics-reporting. Gives Claude the conventions it cannot infer: which report type suits which question, the axis rules for every chart, how to write aggregates, and where a filter belongs. Without it Claude has the tools but guesses at the rest, and those guesses become real reports in your workspace.
A command — /new-report <what you want to see>. Walks the build in order: find the dataset, confirm the columns exist, choose a type, show you the exact call, and create it only after you say yes.
A subagent — datalytics-explorer. Searches for the right dataset in its own context and reports back a shortlist, so a hunt across twenty datasets does not fill your conversation with column dumps. Read-only.
