Changes

  • Replace DuckDB with embedded SQLite; no database server or separately installed SQLite library is required.
  • Bound telemetry admission and batch persistence, with retry isolation, flush barriers, persistence diagnostics, and deadline-limited shutdown.
  • Provide Linux amd64 and arm64 archives containing gotel and gotel-mcp, plus SHA-256 checksums. These builds require glibc 2.34+; Alpine/musl is not supported.

Upgrade notes

Stop an older GoTel server before upgrading. SQLite is now the only storage backend. Older database formats are not opened or automatically migrated; their files are left untouched.

Ingestion acknowledges acceptance into bounded process memory, not a database commit. Abrupt process or machine failure can lose acknowledged telemetry; there is no disk-backed spool.
