actions-graph 0.5.0
actions-graph 0.5.0 on PyPI. Built from 64efa05 (#543).
Breaking: the (:Tool) hub node is gone
A tool's identity now lives on its ToolCall action (tool_name, is_mcp, MCP server and tool). Actions-graph no longer writes (:Tool) nodes or USED_TOOL relationships, so queries that match them return nothing for new sessions. Match on the ToolCall instead:
MATCH (a:Action:ToolCall)
RETURN a.tool_name, a.is_mcp, count(*) AS calls ORDER BY calls DESCFixed
- A failed tool result is stored with
is_error = true(#544). Before 0.5.0 every ToolResult was stored withis_error = false, even whenstatus = 'failed'. is_mcpis read from the action itself, so MCP tool calls are flagged correctly.
Cleaning up a graph captured before 0.5.0
Graphs captured with older versions keep their :Tool nodes. Remove them with:
MATCH (t:Tool) WHERE t.name IS NOT NULL DETACH DELETE tThe name filter spares :Tool entities that sessions-graph extracts from conversations, which carry text instead.
Upgrading
memgraph-context-graph setup and the Claude Code and Codex plugins (0.4.0) already require actions-graph>=0.5.0, so updating the plugin or re-running install.sh picks it up.
Released alongside memgraph-context-graph 0.6.0, sessions-graph 0.8.1 and context-graph-viewer 0.1.0.
