Installing unsigned builds

Neither installer is code-signed yet.

  • macOS: you'll see "Apple could not verify VHS-1.12.0-mac.pkg". Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway (on macOS 14 and older, right-click the .pkg and choose Open).
  • Windows: SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC". Click More info > Run anyway.
