CLAI v2.1.0: System One routing and risk auditing
CLAI 2.1.0 adds optional System One support, including TypeSafe Jev, for focused intent and safety decisions alongside your main LLM.
Highlights
- Smarter routing: System One distinguishes command requests, questions, and history-clear requests without relying on a question mark.
- Independent risk auditing: Proposed commands get a second risk assessment before execution. Higher risk overrides the LLM's rating, while uncertain assessments require confirmation regardless of risk appetite.
- Safer decisions: Validated responses, HTTPS-only requests with same-origin redirects, and confidence checks protect the execution and history-clear paths.
Enable it with system_one_key, system_one_api, and system_one_model in your config. Your main LLM continues to generate commands and explanations; existing setups work without System One configuration.
Upgrade
On Linux or macOS, rerun the release installer to upgrade to the latest version:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/merefield/clai/main/install-release.sh | sh
clai --versionIf your existing installation is in ~/.local/bin, use the same destination:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/merefield/clai/main/install-release.sh |
CLAI_BIN_DIR="$HOME/.local/bin" shOn Windows, download and inspect the installer, then run it:
Invoke-WebRequest https://raw.githubusercontent.com/merefield/clai/main/install-release.ps1 -OutFile install-release.ps1
powershell -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\install-release.ps1
clai --versionFor a custom installation directory, pass --bin-dir DIR (Unix) or -BinDir DIR (Windows) to replace the existing binary. Your configuration is preserved; no need to rerun setup.
