Fast mode, fairer estimates ⚡

Codexometer now accounts for requested Fast-mode API premiums when estimating the spend equivalent and full value of your quota windows.

Highlights

  • Fast-aware quota API-EQ: Astra and GPT-5.6 Fast/legacy Priority premiums are applied per response, including cache and long-context pricing. Quota percentages are never multiplied.
  • An honest comparison: TIER* identifies requested-tier estimates; wide displays also show the standard-price STD 100% comparison. Missing tier evidence is labelled STD? or TIER*?, with LOW confidence.
  • Safer session accounting: tier settings stay attached to their own session and turn, including delayed model resolution. Startup lookback is bounded relative to the latest model context, so a long activity tail does not prematurely hide nearby settings.
  • Clear documentation: the README explains the calculation, fallbacks and the distinction between API pricing and subscription credits. Benchmark rankings remain standard-price comparisons.

Important: these are requested-tier estimates, not confirmed charges. Current Codex telemetry does not expose the actual billed response tier; a backend downgrade cannot yet be verified. Fast pricing is maintained for Astra and GPT-5.6; unsupported explicit tier/model combinations remain unpriced.

The execution-policy override applies only to that PowerShell process. Inspect
the installer first if required by your security policy. Ensure the install
directory is on PATH, as the installer explains.

Or install from source with Go:

Restart Codexometer after upgrading. Quota learning is process-local and starts fresh; your Codex sessions do not need to restart.

Downloads include macOS, Linux and Windows binaries for amd64 and arm64, with SHA-256 checksums.
