Your Monitor, with fewer detours

  • Reply straight from a session row. The selected wide-detail panel now offers a follow-up composer when the shared server confirms input is available and the complete context fits. Click or press Enter to write, Enter to send, and Esc to leave the editor. Drafts wrap and scroll without covering the context; smaller panels and structured questions retain full detail as the fallback.
  • Pick up where you left off. Restarting restores the last main tab, with your Quota view remembered separately. Usage and Benchmark load their data without restarting benchmark runs or reopening approval dialogs.
  • Approvals stay visible and responsive. A highlighted warning opens full detail when a request cannot fit above inline controls. Dismissing another session or enlarging the terminal brings the buttons back when there is room. Stale previews no longer produce misleading warnings after a live request is answered.
  • Easier one-time approval. On terminals supporting key-release events (for example, through the Kitty keyboard protocol), press the option number, release it, and press it again to confirm. Held-key repeats are ignored. C remains available and is the fallback on older terminals; broader session/persistent grants still require C or clicking confirmation. Armed confirmations expire after five seconds.
  • Documentation and regression coverage. Updated Monitor guidance, localised click-surface tests across all 17 languages, and roadmap notes for remembering session visibility and detail layouts. Those roadmap items are not yet implemented.

Upgrade

Quit Codexometer, rerun the installer, then reopen it. Your saved presentation preferences are retained.
