Repository navigation
v0.17.1 — Ready when you are
Ready when you are
This patch makes the terminal Sessions navigation strip clearer, calmer and more useful when several sessions are running.
Highlights
- Completed turns join the queue. Turn Complete pills follow Approval and Input, letting you jump straight to a finished session—even from another full-detail page. They mean “your result is ready”, not “a reply is required”, and disappear when work resumes or the completion clears. Dismissed sessions and paused/unavailable observation do not leave completion shortcuts active.
- Consistent status colours. Working is success green with a blinking ball; Turn Complete uses the theme's primary colour with a steady ball. Approval, Input and Check retain their warning colours. Selecting a row accents its frame without changing the status badge's meaning. Pills retain their status-coloured hover feedback.
- Stable session identities. Labels now use the same short ID as the session row:
[TURN COMPLETE S79SD // projects]. No changing list number to mistake for a priority score or shortcut. - More sessions, less clutter. Full labels remain while everything fits. As space tightens, the strip removes
//, then directories, then shortens Turn Complete toDONE. Stable IDs remain; overflow paging is the last resort. Resizing or removing sessions restores fuller labels automatically, with matching click targets. - Localised and tested. The compact completion label is translated across all 17 supported locales, with regression coverage for responsive layout, click targets, state colours and completion lifecycle. README and intro-post guidance are updated.
These changes affect the terminal Sessions interface. Navigation pills never send prompts or approve commands.
Upgrade
Linux/macOS/WSL release installer:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/merefield/codexometer/v0.17.1/install-release.sh | sh -s -- --version v0.17.1 --bin-dir "$HOME/.local/bin"Ensure $HOME/.local/bin is on PATH, or use your existing installation directory with --bin-dir so an older binary is not found first. Restart Codexometer and check codexometer --version.
Or use Go:
go install github.com/merefield/codexometer@v0.17.1Prebuilt archives below cover Linux, macOS and Windows on amd64 and arm64. See the installation instructions for Windows PowerShell and PATH guidance.
