Highlights

  • GPT-6.1 Sol pricing: API-equivalent estimates now recognise the new model across terminal and web views.
  • Accurate cache accounting: includes its lower cached-input rate, cache writes, long-context pricing and requested Fast/priority premium.
  • Fresh pricing reference: README and pricing footers now show the 30 September 2026 retrieval date. Older model prices remain available for historical usage.

Benchmark API EQ continues to use standard rates; live estimates can include the requested Fast premium. Estimates are not a bill or a statement of subscription credit costs.

Upgrade

On macOS, Linux or WSL, rerun the release installer:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/merefield/codexometer/main/install-release.sh | sh

Or install using Go:

go install github.com/merefield/codexometer@v0.18.5

Prebuilt archives are available below for Linux, macOS and Windows on amd64 and arm64. Restart Codexometer after upgrading and check codexometer --version.
