Highlights

  • Updated Go and Charm stack: Go 1.27.2, Bubbles 2.2.1, and Bubble Tea 2.0.10, with refreshed compatible dependencies.
  • Consistent terminal backgrounds: Panel and custom screen backgrounds now survive nested text styles. Highlights, hyperlinks, theme switching, and background: none remain supported.
  • True colour in modern Apple Terminal: Local Apple Terminal on macOS 26+ uses true colour while respecting explicit colour preferences, SSH sessions, terminal multiplexers, and redirected output.
  • Go security checks: A pinned vulnerability scan runs on pull requests, master pushes, weekly, and on demand. Goldmark is updated to 1.7.17 to fix GO-2026-5320.
  • More reliable releases: Improved cross-platform validation, Windows installer fixtures, and release-tag/commit diagnostics.

Downloads and compatibility

Prebuilt archives are available for Linux, macOS, and Windows on AMD64 and ARM64, with SHA-256 checksums in checksums.txt. No Go runtime is required for prebuilt binaries.

macOS builds require macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer. Building from source requires Go 1.27.2 or newer.
