Highlights

  • Consistent main panes: rounded borders now surround the content area in every view, including post streams, Search, notifications, the composer, and expanded images.
  • Cleaner headers: content headers share the main background. Empty header boxes are omitted, with their titles moved to the main pane border.
  • Clearer text entry: Search, topic-title, and composer fields use subdued, theme-aware backgrounds across the entire editable area, including blank cells.
  • Improved Search layout: enter the query in the header, with the main pane reserved for results. Typed punctuation is preserved exactly.
  • Better layout alignment: text wrapping, editor dimensions, row click targets, and expanded images use the space inside the pane borders. Image views reflow when resized.
  • More reliable Windows CI: installer tests wait for HTTP readiness, publish the fixture port atomically, handle paths containing spaces, and report server startup diagnostics.

Changes

  • Unify pane borders and clarify text entry (#25).
  • Harden Windows installer test startup in a separate commit included in #25.
  • Bump the patch version to 0.3.4.

How to upgrade

Close any running Termcourse session before upgrading. Use the same installation directory as before: add --bin-dir PATH on macOS/Linux or -BinDir PATH on Windows if you installed to a custom location.

macOS and Linux

Rerun the release installer for this version:
