@github-actions github-actions released this 27 Jul 21:51

A discoverability and localisation release. The mouse and link shortcuts
added in 3.3.0 are now documented in the interface itself, and every
remaining English-only string has been translated. Drop-in.

Added

  • The help modal is now a Quick Reference (press ?). Renamed from
"Keyboard Shortcuts" because it no longer covers only the keyboard: a new
Mouse & Links section documents right-clicking an app icon to edit it,
Ctrl/Cmd+Click or middle-click to open an app in a new browser tab, and the
/#app and /#app1+app2 link forms. These worked in 3.3.0 but were
invisible unless you read the wiki.

Changed

  • The Quick Reference is wider and its Mouse & Links section spans the full
width, so rows that previously wrapped across three lines now fit on one.
The dialog also describes itself to screen readers via its subtitle.

Fixed

  • The interface is fully translated again. Every string that was
English-only is now translated in all 36 other languages: the Quick
Reference, the keyboard-reordering announcements and slug-conflict warning
from 3.2.3, and the dynamic tab branding from 3.3.0. All 37 locales carry
    every key.
  • The identity-forwarding sentence in the custom-headers help (added in
3.2.2) had never been translated; it is now present in every language.
  • The command palette and keybindings settings still called the help modal
"Keyboard Shortcuts" in every language, sending anyone looking for the
mouse shortcuts past the entry that documents them.
