Bluetooth and WiFi issues with new T-Deck Plus

I just bought a new T-Deck Plus and I've encountered a bunch of issues, not sure if I have faulty hardware or this is a software issue ...

I ordered it from here and the device seems to look a bit different from other photos (more spacing between the keyboard keys) so maybe I got a new revision that might not be properly supported yet?

I was able to flash the device just fine and first tried the current beta (2.6.11) and then the current alpha (2.7.5) but I ran into issues all the time.

First I had trouble getting the GPS to show up. Fixed that with the instructions from #4625 (entering the two pin numbers in the config) and now it at least detects the GPS module but shows a position of 0 all the time, even after leaving the device next to a window for 15+ minutes. - That apparently fixed itself, maybe I was just too impatient.

Also, while I was able to connect the device to my WiFi and it shows the IP on the main screen (so the wifi chip must be working), I'm unable to get the app to connect either using WiFi or Bluetooth, I always have to use the USB cable. When I try to connect it through Bluetooth and put the device into pairing mode it does show the PIN on the screen and I can pair it and connect it while it shows the PIN on the screen, but as soon as I reboot the device into "normal" mode I can no longer connect using Bluetooth. Is there some button combination I need to press to "save" the bluetooth pairing? When I try to connect there's just a red cloud icon next to the entry in the bluetooth list.

I also noticed that sending some setting updates from the Android app cause the device to crash, and others just don't work. For example, when I go to Display and set "Flip screen" to on, I can save that setting but it doesn't flip the screen. Also, if I set "Wake screen on tap or motion" then it doesn't even save, the device immediately crashes and reboots once I save, and the app says "Error, Disconnected".

I was wondering if maybe I got a new hardware revision of the device or something that needs different firmware - though I compared the pin outputs they advertise for my device here with the ones for the model with the older keyboard here and they seem identical.

Hi @Leseratte10 , are you aware that if you're using the Meshtastic UI, you can't also use Bluetooth/wifi at the same time? This is a limitation of the device, as the advanced UI "uses" the connection that may be used by Wifi/Bluetooth.

There's a programming mode if you wish to change settings by app. Tap the Bluetooth icon on startup.
