Hello, I was testing metaDMG and got this error:

Is it related to #24 ? I dont think I only have sequences longer than 200bp, quite far from that.

Latest version, not so sure which information I can give you to help.

Hi louis,

in the latest commit (30th april 2025) , Nicola Vogel, pushed a changes that alters the max read length to be 500Bp.
Just a small side node, DNA damage to be frequent in 500 Bp long sequences. Typically in the ancient DNA datasets I have been working on, read lengths are below 100 bp for the ancient taxa.
