Install

Homebrew: brew install --cask mewc/tap/input-stats

Or by hand:

  1. Download InputStats.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Move Input Stats.app to /Applications.
  3. Because this is self-signed (not notarized), first launch is blocked by Gatekeeper.
    Either right-click the app → Open (then confirm), or run: 
    xattr -cr "/Applications/Input Stats.app"
  4. Grant Accessibility permission when prompted
    (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility).

From this version on, the app auto-updates itself — future releases
download and install in-place from the menu (no manual steps).

  • build: prefer an Apple-issued signing identity, add Keychain partition tooling by @mewc in #14
  • Finer input granularity: side buttons, gestures, scroll axis, typing pace, per-screen by @mewc in #15
