  • Updates are safer and more resilient. ReaAssist now downloads and verifies the complete update before replacing files, uses version-pinned release files, and handles locked files without silently leaving them behind.

  • Interrupted updates recover automatically. A transaction journal can finish or roll back a partially applied update on the next launch, while an apply lock keeps two ReaAssist instances from changing the same installation at once.
