• Opening an email used to sit on a short preview for a long time before the message itself appeared. Brain was discarding each message right after downloading it, so every open started over. A message you have opened stays, and opens at once the next time.
• That preview showed raw codes like ' where an apostrophe belonged. It now reads the way the message list has always read.
• When a message went missing from Brain's own store, the reader waited for it in silence for half a minute. It asks again instead.
