ConjureAlign 1.0.0
First public release.
ConjureAlign time-aligns two recordings of one source captured by different microphones — e.g. a close mic and a room mic on a guitar amp — eliminating the phase cancellation caused by the distance between them. Route the reference track into the plugin's sidechain, play a loud section, click Capture: it measures the offset by FFT cross-correlation with sub-sample precision, detects polarity, and glides click-free onto the corrected alignment. Negative shifts (moving a track earlier) work via latency compensation, and the result is stored with your session.
Download
ConjureAlign-1.0.0-macOS.pkg — universal (Apple Silicon + Intel), signed and notarized. Double-click it; the installer offers all three formats — Audio Unit (Logic Pro, GarageBand), VST3 (REAPER, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One), CLAP (Bitwig, REAPER) — and installs them to the system plug-in folders. Restart your DAW afterwards; in Logic the plugin appears under Audio FX → ConjureDSP → ConjureAlign. Sidechain routing per host is covered in the README.
If you installed an earlier build by hand into ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins, delete those copies so your DAW doesn't keep loading the old version.
ConjureAlign-1.0.0-Windows.zip (beta) — 64-bit VST3 + CLAP (the AU layer is macOS-only). Unzip and copy ConjureAlign.vst3 to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\ and ConjureAlign.clap to C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\, then restart your DAW and rescan. This build passes the full DSP test suite, pluginval at strictness 10, and CLAP validation in CI, but has had less real-DAW testing than the macOS build — bug reports welcome.
Linux: no binaries yet — builds from source with stable Rust (cargo xtask bundle conjure_align --release); interest noted in the issues is what will prioritize official builds.
