v1.2.0
Pre-release
Pre-release
- Added a new shader that shows basis material modulated by weight maps as another means to visualize where materials are used on the object. (@michaelt919)
- Added option to enforce a minimum specular width (i.e. effectively a lower bound on shininess / glossiness). By default this is now set to 0.2. To get the behavior of v1.1.x and earlier, this value can be set to 0.0. (@michaelt919)
- Fixed a bug that prevented masks from being used when included in the alpha channel of PNG images. (@denneyl2711, @michaelt919)
- Added support for importing masks from an Agisoft Metashape project. (@denneyl2711)
- Added support for importing masks from a directory. The names of the mask images must match the names of the source photographs or be the same with the suffix "_mask" appended, not counting the file extension (which may also change so long as both are image file formats supported by Kintsugi 3D Builder: PNG, JPEG, or TIFF). (@denneyl2711)
- Projects for which "Process Textures" has already been run will automatically open with the "Material (basis)" shader selected. (@michaelt919)
- Export no longer includes the standalone occlusion map (which was often identical to orm.png and not intended for use outside Kintsugi 3D Builder), nor unpacked weight maps which are not needed by Kintsugi 3D Viewer. (@michaelt919)
- Various bug fixes and UX improvements. (@denneyl2711, @michaelt919)
