Headroom 2.1.4 (build 545).
What changed
Changed
- Desk display dims on a schedule you set, and fades instead of stepping.
Dim at night becomes Dim on a schedule with From and Until hour pickers in
the host's time zone. The host fades the brightness it serves to 10% over
thirty minutes after the start hour and back after the end hour, so a board
polling once a minute sees about thirty small steps rather than one jump.
The pane shows the level the panel holds right now while a fade or the dim
level is in effect. No reflash needed; the board applies what arrives. - Desk display pages follow the sources. Each page row takes its source's
title from the host, and a source that is off under Integrations shows as
off here and cannot be switched on from the pane, so a toggle never names
a page the board cannot draw.
Added
- The Desk display pane shows whether the board is still polling. The host
measures the median gap between the board's polls and reports it beside
Last seen ("12 sec. ago · every 60 s"), with a dot that is green within two
and a half polls, orange within six, and red after that. The section
refreshes itself every fifteen seconds while open.
macOS
Download Headroom-macOS.zip, unzip, open Headroom.app.
Notarized — Gatekeeper should accept it on first open.
On first launch the Welcome sheet starts the bundled host automatically. Confirm Claude / Codex / Cursor, then Continue.
iPhone
Install via TestFlight.
Pairing uses the mobile token (Mac Settings → Copy mobile token), not the host token used by the ESP32.
