v22.15.0
Release class: binary-release — this release changes the compiled binary, so it has a NEW macOS fingerprint that needs a corporate approval request (see the Fingerprints section below).
Generated by evolve release (go/internal/changeloggen) from commits v22.14.0..HEAD.
Added
- latest-model selection with lineage safety, fingerprint stability, and a shadow-staged write path (#417)
Fixed
- restore the scout eval-path pin sentence — cycle-1383's persona compression dropped 'the' from 'Do NOT write only to the cycle worktree', breaking TestLoopUnblockScoutPromptRequiresWorkspaceEvalPath and redding main. One word; line budget unchanged (748). Green-in-lane/red-on-main because the lane's stale worktree base predates the pin — third manifestation of the worktree-base class (continuation-worktree-base-refresh 0.92): the ship-time repo-contract gate evaluated in a tree WITHOUT the pin, adding gate-evasion to that item's blast radius. (#420)
- decorated-cite tolerance + disposition-duty prominence (#419)
- new evals were born ignored — tracked-corpus/ladder split killed every eval ship (cycle-1345/1346/1348 batch HALT) (#418)
- allowlist the two runtime-minted stub profiles (reasoned, ratcheted) — first live REPO_CONTRACT_GATE firing exposed the interaction: the minter re-mints ship-stage-hygiene-check + regression-predicate-precheck in EVERY lane (their phases are tracked), the pairing guard scans disk, and the new ship gate correctly refused pushes — blocking lanes on stubs they did not author (cycle ~1326, two firings). The guard's own remedy applied: allowlist with a reason; the shrink ratchet keeps pressure (author the personas -> delete the entries; tracked on the phase-mint class item). Verified green WITH the stubs present on disk (lane condition reproduced). (#415)
Documentation
- full documentation refresh audit (4 parallel verify-then-write auditors, v22.14.0 truth) — README (cycle count 1,300+, 4-CLI roster replacing the Gemini-era list, real v22.13/v22.14 version rows, chronicle link, moved-path fixes), AGENTS.md (CORRECTED a wrong phase spine to the state-machine-pinned Intent->Scout->Triage->[TDD]->Build->Audit->Ship->Learn; ADR-0075 guard status; doc-root rules), CLAUDE.md digest (repo_contract_gate=enforce in the gates list; boot.binary_refresh + escalation/ack bullets; corrected the false no-pins claim — memo->agy/fast pin exists), runtime-reference (8-gate GatesConfig enumeration, repo-contract gate row, boot-refresh row, batch-window floor, #394 demote net; docs-contract test run green by the auditor), control-flags (both new dials), deliverable-contract (salvage rung + escalation cross-link), link integrity 69 broken -> 21 (48 fixed incl. the release-notes depth break and two never-existed targets traced to their real docs; remaining 21 = deleted-legacy classes, enumerated), indexes/CODEBASE-MAP/MOVED corrected (ADR range 0001-0083, package count 152, chronicle indexed). Two unverifiable historical figures left flagged rather than guessed. (#416)
- refresh the Pages site SSOT to v22.14.0 — seven releases of drift closed (content.json is a manual bump per the landing-conversion gotcha). Facts: version v22.7.0->v22.14.0; 1,040+->1,320+ autonomous cycles; 3 CLIs (Claude/Codex/Gemini) -> 4 CLIs (Claude Code/Codex/Antigravity/Ollama); installer terminal literal modernized incl. the SHA256 fingerprint trust line; release example gains the auto-demote net; pillar proofs upgraded with the week's shipped capabilities (boot binary self-heal; two-round adversarial arcs + defect-disposition ledger; contract-block CLI escalation). Landing suite green (buildsite/content/render); local SSG build verified v22.14.0 in 5 pages, zero stale strings. (#414)

Fingerprints (corporate approval)
The recommended macOS artifact is the universal evolve_darwin_all.tar.gz (a lipo'd x86_64 + arm64 fat binary) — one fingerprint covering both Intel and Apple Silicon. SHA256 checksums for every published artifact are in the checksums.txt release asset. (The per-arch evolve_darwin_amd64.tar.gz / evolve_darwin_arm64.tar.gz archives remain published for existing installs, each with its own distinct hash — approve the universal one.)
To adopt this release under a fingerprint-based approval system:
- Download
evolve_darwin_all.tar.gzandchecksums.txtfrom this release. - Verify integrity:
shasum -a 256 -c checksums.txt. - Submit the universal binary's SHA256 as the one macOS approval fingerprint (one request per adopted version; the pin re-adopts automatically on first run).
