Proton Mail not showing notifications

Describe the bug
Not receiving notifications for new incoming emails (or any other notifications.

To Reproduce

1. Send an email to yourself (from another email address)
2. Wait for a while and see no notification

Expected behavior
To get a notification for a new email.

System
Android Version: 16
Custom ROM: LineageOS 23.1

microG
microG Core version: 0.3.12.250932
microG Self-Check results: All ticked except for MicroG Services Framework installed, Permission to receive text messages, Permission to This app can appear on top of other apps, Permission to interact with work profile. I'm unable to tick them.

Additional context
Xiaomi Mi 11 (Venus) phone, with [ROM][Android 16][UNOFFICIAL][OTA] LineageOS 23.1 for Xiaomi Mi 11 [venus].

This ROM doesn't support MicroG specifically.

Is there a way for me to get MicroG compatible with my device? I'm a programmer but not in the area of phones.

Everything else on my phone seems to work fine except for this issue. Of course I would love to help fixing this issue.

Hmm I definitely get notifications for Proton Mail. Do you get notifications for other apps?

Though sending an email to myself may not be the best test - I think Proton is often just slow.

What do you see if you go to App info -> Notifications -> Notification categories?

Does your MicroG self-check have all checked?

I get notifications from other apps but I understand that there are different notifications' paths, some use the google services and some don't.
I do get notifications from Proton Calendar, which makes the whole thing even weirder.

I'm sending an email to myself from a different email address, also tried by a friend sending me email and a 2fa email - none gave notifications.

When I open Proton Mail notification's I see this:

I click on "Show unused categories", then on "Other" and I see:

I tried:
Uninstalling and reinstalling proton mail;
Uninstalling and reinstalling MicroG with adb and from F-Droid;
Opening the Proton Mail app just before getting the email so nit'll be in the background;

Any Ideas?
If you want to share your proccess of installing things maybe I'll try and repeat what you did.

I experience the same thing. Notifcations work for all apps besides ProtonMail. LineageOS 23, microG 0.3.13.250932 installed as system apps. Protonmail and microG both also have unrestricted battery usage.
