Amplifier Unified 0.20.31
More reliable setup, instructions, images and conversation controls
High-impact changes
Finish component updates
Instruction, image-context and native-provider fixes span the application and its Foundation, loop, context and OpenAI provider components. Existing workers retain their loaded code.
What to do: Let Settings → Updates finish installing components, then use a fresh worker. Explicit source pins and custom forks remain unchanged.
Some follow-ups remain open
Delegation routing visibility does not enforce cross-provider consent. Ordinary tool-read recursive references, provider-aware image preparation, and physical device or Windows/WSL acceptance remain separate work.
What to do: Review connection and routing choices before delegated work. Verify your device and provider with the intended workflow.
Changes
- Load global and project instructions reliably, resolve nested references relative to their containing instruction file, and refresh stale draft provider/model defaults.
- Accept conversation attachments up to 32 MiB and adopt context repairs that avoid treating encoded image bytes as ordinary text tokens. Provider limits still apply.
- Keep safe failure details and actionable app-control recovery guidance, and forward native provider timeouts correctly.
- Keep Stop work available during voice calls and clear stale computer readiness when screen sharing changes.
- Protect unsaved connection settings, expose Add/manage connections in the picker, and show delegation routing plus observed child provider/model and usage.
- Make repeated service installation recoverable, preserve packaged login-page integrity, and document a Unified-only reset for older hackathon installs.
