Documents changes from microsoft/aspire#19197
@sebastienrosTargeting
release/13.6based on the source PR milestone13.6.Why
microsoft/aspire#19197 fixed the Foundry Local lifecycle (support for both legacy
foundry serviceand currentfoundry serverCLI generations, cached-model loading before download, serialized shutdown) and added a new unmanaged remote endpoint mode forRunAsFoundryLocal(endpoint), letting WSL2/Linux AppHosts connect to a Foundry Local service already running on another host without starting/stopping/downloading/loading models there. TheRunAsFoundryLocal(string endpoint)overload and theLocalModelIddeployment property used with it were previously undocumented on aspire.dev.What changed
Updated
integrations/cloud/azure/azure-ai-foundry/azure-ai-foundry-host.mdx:foundry server/foundry servicedual support and cached-model-first loading (previously described only the olderfoundry service start/stopflow).RunAsFoundryLocal("(windowshost/redacted) /runAsFoundryLocal({ endpoint: ... }), explaining the unmanaged/observe-only behavior and theLocalModelId/localModelId` property used to target a specific remote model alias.No new pages were created; this is an update to an existing page.
