According to GitHub's TOS (https://help.github.com/en/articles/github-terms-of-service) any software containing malware is non-compliant with those terms and needs to be removed. Also, since Calculator as far as I can tell depends on the proprietary WinRT, it is neither fully-free nor auditable after compile-time.

Windows 10 is great, it got better. But data collection and forced "antivirus protection" is unnecessary and bloated. Why does Microsoft need to do this? when using a popular Linux distro you don't experience extensive data collection like you do on Microsoft's software.

I agree, Microsoft have improved their products very well these past few years and I would very much recommend windows 10 to my company, colleagues and customers if it just made it lighter to use and less "annoying".

With all due respect, is not spam nor trolling. If you read the relevant information I provided there are clear violations that Microsoft should follow up on before placing this software in any sort of reach for users.

I don't understand how this issue can be considered as spam, I really doubt people from Microsoft would like to discuss issues like this or even think about it. As a result most of our opinions would be tossed aside.

This is true, but it's an irrelevant point. Nothing in GitHub's TOS prohibits this, which would be silly anyway.

How did you manage to completely miss the hypocrisy of promoting open software but then attempting to censor a github repo you don't like based on an opinionated hit-piece by a competitor?

This passive-aggressive nonsense achieves nothing and suffocates actual dialog between Microsoft & OSS communities.
