v2.5.0

Added

• Support for additional container runtimes: nerdctl/finch and the new WSL native container runtime. #119, #501
• Docker Swarm stacks are now recognized in the Containers view, so services in a stack are grouped together like Compose projects. #472
• Container and image filters are now persisted, so they apply at the workspace level and survive across sessions. #382
• The command used for "Compose Logs" can now be customized in settings, like some other container commands. #323
• Debugging now supports single-file .NET apps. #272

Fixed

• Dangling images are no longer shown in the Images view with Docker v29.0.0 and above. #518
• Python debugging now works when using Podman. #258
• Several Compose language service fixes: code lenses are now hidden for compose files outside the workspace, formatting no longer rounds large numbers or breaks YAML anchors. #535, #536, #537

Removed

• Support for Compose V1 (the docker-compose command) has been dropped, as it has been out of support for several years. The extension now always uses docker compose etc. #339
