pending.tar.gz
Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No
- VS Code Version: 1.77.3 (Universal)
- OS Version: macOS Ventura 13.3.1
Steps to Reproduce:
- One remote cloud-platform server instance, start a docker container mounting the directory of the source codes.
- Open vs code, remotely connect to the server instance, and attaches the container.
- Open 1 or 2 source code files in the editor, and wait, do nothing else.
- After a few minutes, vs code crashes: the window terminated unexpectedly (reason 'crashed' code '5')
I have uninstalled un-essential extensions, rebooted my computer, and restarted the container, yet it still crashes every time.
I have followed this link, trying to upload the crash dump file, but the dmp files are always generated under the 'pending' directory, unable to be chosen, as shown in Picture 1.
I once suspected it due to the reason that the dmp file still being written, but the file size never changes even if I remain the vs code open, as shown in Picture 2.
