Unable to download version 1.70.3 of VS Code

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

• VS Code Version: 1.70.2
• OS Version: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (Build 7601.27769)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Install version 1.70.2 of VS Code

This “bug” has nothing to do with the VS Code project itself, but I couldn't find any other way to give feedback on the issue.

Users can only download version 1.70.2 from the official website with VS Code: https://code.visualstudio.com/updates/v1_70

And version 1.70.2 of VS Code cannot be updated because the update link is not working.

az764295.vo.msecnd.net is long gone. I don't know why you didn't migrate the download server for version 1.70.3 to vscode.download.prss.microsoft.com.

I know that the best strategy is to update the system to Windows 10 or Windows 11, which has not yet finished its life cycle. but that's a business environment and it's not up to me.

Update 1.70.3: This update is only available for Windows 7 users and is the last release supporting Windows 7.

Gentry Deng (@gentrydeng) For what it's worth, I think the version was mostly pushed to provide a timely EOL warning message and did not contain major changes. You can check the commits in https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/commits/release/1.70/ between 1.70.2 and 1.70.3 (the changes seem pretty minor). Since it's been several years since the original deprecation message went out, I'm not sure if it's worth revisiting even if the the update link is broken.
