- Launch Visual Studio Code (latest version).
- Ensure GitHub Copilot extension is installed and enabled.
- Open any file (e.g., .cpp or .py).
- Look at the bottom-right corner of the VS Code window.
Expected Result:
The Copilot status icon (indicating activation or connection status) should appear at the bottom-right corner of VS Code.
Actual Result:
The Copilot icon does not appear at all, even though the extension is installed and enabled.
Additional Info:
- Copilot commands (like "Enable Copilot" or "Sign in to GitHub") do not show any visual status.
- Reinstalling or reloading VS Code does not resolve the issue.
